Meet Our Facilitator
IGNACIO BIDEGAIN
LCMHC, LCAS, NCC
Ignacio provides multicultural care for clients above 14 y/o, all races, and backgrounds. Through our collaborative therapeutic relationship, we will explore how cognitions, behaviors, genetical tendencies, and socio-cultural influences have impacted your wellbeing. He works together with the client as a team to accomplish your mental health, wellness, education, and career goals, and most important, to help you reach the most fulfilled version of yourself. Growing up as a middle class, Spanish-speaking Latino male in Argentina and having developed in athletic -highly competitive- environments in several countries as a competitive tennis player, he got to observe the impact of socio-cultural systems as well as personality tendencies in the behavior and well-being of others. Through a person-centered, motivational interviewing, and CBT approach, clients will gain increased self-awareness and decision-making capacity in their lives. With these goals in mind, he relies on his previous counseling experiences serving in a variety of settings (e.g., IOP and PHP programs, school based counseling), as well as personal experiences.
